Temperature ratings for CMP shrouds are as follows :
PVC -60°C to +90°C
LSF -60°C to +130°C

For all types of gland applications to provide additional protection & enhances the IP rating of the gland termination.

One of the occasionally controversial issues associated with HA electrical equipment is cable glands – in particular, the use of shrouds on the glands. Shrouds are commonly specified and used on glands outdoors as an aid to weather proofing. However, they may in fact have the opposite effect, by acting as moisture or water traps.

Use :
As per the design of cable gland, the cable cleats are molded, tooled and engineered keeping in mind the diameter and material to be used in the installation of cable gland. With this, the high end customization on the cable cleats with a fine fusion of material and multiple functionalities are brought to market. These varieties of cable cleats are used for efficient and secured installation of cable glands and provide protection to cables at the time of short circuit in the electrical system. It also makes a systematic arrangement of cables for smooth cable operations.
